He's in his 40's and has had a terrible time of it for the last year. Heart and kidney problems, is on dialysis awaiting a kidney transplant. His normal jovial personality has been absent for a year now as you might expect of someone going through all of this at that age. But we do share one bright thing together: this video, and it's now iconic phrase cracks us up. He had a procedure the other day where he was sedated. They brought him back to his room and he was just starting to wake up and was still feeling the "happy juice" he was sedated with when he suddenly popped up on his elbow, grinned at me, and hit me with your phrase. Buttered Sausage, let's talk about it.... And he was laughing like his old self. Than you for that..

Mr. Barry is a great actor and wonderful to listen to. Very informative and inspirational for anyone in the performing arts. He is one hundred percent correct in that Cruise's best performance ever was in "BOTFOJ". I became aware of Mr. Barry in the Oliver Stone war film, and I've always enjoyed his subsequent performances. I hope one day that we're all lucky enough to learn from Mr. Barry's "wealth of knowledge" in book form.
